**Madurai, January 31, 2025** – The Southern Railway announced alterations to train services in the Salem Division due to ongoing engineering works. These changes will affect the Sengottai – Erode Express (Train No. 16846) and the Erode – Sengottai Express (Train No. 16845) on February 1, 3, 6, 8, and 10.
The Sengottai – Erode Express will be short-terminated at Karur, resulting in partial cancellation between Karur and Erode. Conversely, the Erode – Sengottai Express will originate from Karur at 3:05 p.m. on these days, also resulting in partial cancellation between Erode and Karur.
