**Mysuru, January 31, 2025** – Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah pledged increased funding for road and infrastructure development in Kodagu district during a recent visit. Inaugurating a new flyover in Bhagamandala, he highlighted his government’s commitment to the region, referencing past investments and promising further aid.

Mr. Siddaramaiah touted the Congress party’s fulfillment of 158 out of 165 promises made during its previous term (2013-2018), contrasting this with the BJP’s alleged failure to meet even 10% of its manifesto pledges. He also announced an impending ordinance to curb alleged harassment of borrowers by microfinance institutions. The Chief Minister’s visit included an interaction with party workers and local MLAs.
