**Hyderabad, January 31, 2025** – Cyberabad police concluded a 50-day operation resulting in the recovery of 1,190 stolen and lost mobile phones valued at ₹3.55 crore. The devices were returned to their owners on Friday at the Cyberabad Police Commissioner’s Office.
The Central Crime Station (CCS) recovered the majority of the phones (1,010), while the remaining 180 were recovered by law and order police across the commissionerate’s five zones. DCP Crimes K. Narasimha urged citizens to promptly report lost or stolen phones through the nearest police station or the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal to facilitate quicker recovery and prevent misuse.
