Fri Jan 31 20:50:00 IST 2025: ## Bishnoi’s Poor Form May Cost Him Place in India’s Playing XI for 4th T20I

**Pune, India** – Leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi’s disappointing performance in the ongoing T20I series against England could see him dropped from India’s playing XI for the crucial fourth match in Pune on January 31st.

Bishnoi has failed to make an impact, going wicketless in the first two matches and conceding 46 runs for just one wicket in the third. His recent form, including only two wickets in his last five T20Is, has led to speculation that captain Suryakumar Yadav will replace him with fast bowler Arshdeep Singh. Arshdeep’s inclusion would allow India to maintain spin options with Axar Patel and Washington Sundar.

A strong performance by Arshdeep could also mark a significant personal milestone. Two wickets in the fourth T20I would see him become the first Indian and 21st bowler globally to reach 100 T20I wickets.

India currently leads the five-match series 2-1, and a win in Pune would secure the series victory. While Bishnoi has a respectable record with 57 wickets in 40 T20Is and a best bowling figure of 4/13, his recent struggles have apparently persuaded the captain to opt for a change.
