**Mumbai, India** – Reliance Jio has reinstated its popular ₹189 prepaid plan, offering users a budget-friendly option after temporarily removing its value plan category. The plan, now categorized under “Affordable Packs,” provides a balance of data, calls, and SMS for extended validity.

For ₹189, users receive 2GB of high-speed data, unlimited voice calls, and 300 SMS messages, all valid for 28 days. This significantly longer validity period compared to other plans makes it attractive to users with moderate data consumption. The plan also includes subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud.

While a previously available ₹479 plan offering 6GB of data and 84 days of validity has been withdrawn, industry experts speculate its return is possible, particularly given Airtel’s similar offering. The reintroduction of the ₹189 plan signals Jio’s response to competitive pressures in the Indian telecom market, which has seen significant changes in prepaid plans recently. The company has not yet confirmed whether the ₹479 plan will be reinstated.
