**RAMALLAH, WEST BANK –** An Israeli drone strike in the West Bank village of Tamun near Tubas killed at least 10 Palestinians on Wednesday, the Palestinian health ministry reported. The Israeli military confirmed its involvement in a counterterrorism operation in the area, stating that an aircraft targeted an armed cell. The discrepancy in the death toll prompted immediate outrage from Palestinian officials and militant groups.

Initially reporting seven fatalities, the Palestinian Red Crescent later confirmed the higher figure. The Israeli military, in a statement, said the strike was conducted based on intelligence from the Israeli Security Agency (ISA). A Palestinian official corroborated that a drone carried out the attack.
