**TIRUVANNAMALAI, January 30, 2025** – A 32-year-old farmer, S. Karthikeyan, was found dead with head injuries near his home in Sirunathur village, Kilpennathur, on Wednesday. Police believe Karthikeyan was attacked by three unidentified assailants who struck him with iron rods before fleeing the scene.

The incident occurred while Karthikeyan was working in his backyard. Family members and neighbours alerted the Kilpennathur police after discovering his body. A case has been registered, and special police teams have been formed to apprehend the suspects. An investigation is underway.
