Thu Jan 30 21:54:09 IST 2025: ## Karnataka CET-2025 Adds “Experimental Skills” to Syllabus
**Bengaluru, January 30, 2025** – The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced a significant change to the Common Entrance Test (CET) syllabus for 2025. The addition of “experimental skills” as a new component aims to align the CET with national entrance exams like NEET and JEE.
The new syllabus includes 14 units of experimental skills in physics, six in chemistry, and 16 in biology. Questions on these skills will be included in the CET-2025 examination, scheduled for April 16th and 17th. Mathematics will remain unchanged as it does not currently incorporate experimental skills. The revised syllabus is available on the KEA website. This change reflects a broader emphasis on practical application and hands-on experience in science education.
