**SAN FRANCISCO, CA – December 14, 2024** – Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software announced today that PC players of the hit game *Hogwarts Legacy* will finally receive long-awaited mod support on January 30, 2025. A free update will introduce official modding tools, available on the Epic Games Store, allowing players to create and share custom content.

Avalanche Software is aiming to make the modding process accessible, providing streamlined tools for creators. The studio confirmed that several community-made mods will be available at launch, including whimsical broom options (dragons and vacuum cleaners!), unique cosmetic items, an endless dungeon, and a magical creature fetch quest. The company expects a surge of user-generated content, ranging from the expected to the absurd.

While the update is currently limited to PC, no information was given regarding console support. This announcement comes nearly two years after the game’s initial release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in February 2023. The game has since been released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, achieving phenomenal success with over 30 million units sold.
