**ERODE, Feb 1, 2025** – All liquor shops in Erode district will be closed for four days, from February 3rd to 5th and again on February 8th (counting day), in accordance with the upcoming by-election for the Erode (East) Assembly constituency on February 5th. District Election Officer and District Collector Raja Gopal Sunkara announced the closure, encompassing all Tasmac shops, attached bars, and other bars in the district. Violators will face legal action.
