**New Delhi:** Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has leveled serious allegations against the Congress party, accusing them of secretly collaborating with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
In a recently released video message, Kejriwal claimed that Congress leaders are deliberately avoiding criticizing the BJP, suggesting their actions are aimed at helping the BJP win. He recounted conversations with Congress supporters who, despite acknowledging the Congress’s lack of chances of winning, stated their intention to vote for the party out of habit. Kejriwal interpreted this as evidence of a tacit understanding between Congress and BJP to ensure AAP’s defeat.
Kejriwal argued that the Congress’s strategy is to allow the BJP to gain power in Delhi. He warned that a BJP victory would lead to the dismantling of AAP’s welfare schemes, including free electricity, water, Mohalla Clinics, and free bus rides for women, resulting in significant financial losses for Delhi’s residents. He estimated that an average family would lose approximately ₹25,000 per month. He urged Congress supporters to vote for AAP instead, highlighting the potential consequences of voting for the Congress in this election.
