**Hyderabad, [Date]:** The Telugu action thriller film, “Potugadda,” has premiered directly on the ETV Win OTT platform. The film, released Thursday, is set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema and explores the themes of honor killings and political maneuvering during elections.
Starring Prithvi Dandamudi and Vismaya in the lead roles, “Potugadda” features Aadukalam Naren and Shatru in pivotal roles. Directed by Raksha Veeram, the movie is inspired by real-life events and incorporates political elements into the narrative of honor killings.
The plot revolves around Bhaskar (Shatru), who is determined to defeat the incumbent MLA, Samudra (Aadukalam Naren), in the upcoming assembly elections. Samudra’s daughter, Geetha (Vismaya), falls in love with Krishna (Prithvi Dandamudi), leading to a conflict when her father disapproves of their relationship. The film follows the consequences of their actions, including an attack on the bus the couple attempts to escape on and the presence of a significant amount of money.
