**Hyderabad, [Date]:** Telangana’s Health Minister, T. Damodar Rajnarasimha, announced that a new, advanced Osmania General Hospital will soon be open to the public. The hospital, built to international standards and equipped with cutting-edge technology, is being constructed following instructions from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

The Minister, speaking after a review meeting at the Secretariat on Wednesday, detailed the hospital’s impressive features. Spread across 26.3 acres with 3.2 million square feet of space, it will boast 2,000 beds and eight new departments in addition to the existing 22 at the current Osmania Hospital. The design includes wide roads surrounding the facility to alleviate traffic congestion and a two-story underground parking area. All diagnostic services will be centralized, with outpatient services located on the ground and first floors. The complex will also house nursing, dental, and physiotherapy colleges, along with hostels for students and a 750-seat auditorium. A rest house with free meals will be provided for patients’ attendants.

Minister Rajnarasimha expressed gratitude to the Police Department for allocating 26.3 acres of their 38-acre land for the project, assuring them that the remaining land will remain available for their operations.
