Ganga Sagar, a father of two, vanished without a trace 27 years ago, leaving behind his wife Dhanwada Devi and their young sons. His disappearance devastated the family, with Dhanwada Devi tirelessly searching for him for months before ultimately giving up hope.
The family’s unexpected reunion possibility began when relatives of Dhanwada Devi attending the Kumbh Mela noticed an Aghori (a Hindu ascetic) who bore an uncanny resemblance to Ganga Sagar. A photograph was sent to Dhanwada Devi, who immediately recognized her missing husband based on distinguishing features like a birthmark on his forehead, prominent teeth, and a scar on his knee.
