Galle, Sri Lanka – Australia ended the first session of the first Test against Sri Lanka in a commanding position, reaching 92/1 at the drinks break. Openers Usman Khawaja and Travis Head put on a dominant display against the Sri Lankan spin attack, frustrating the hosts and laying a strong foundation for the innings.
