**Karimnagar, Telangana – January 29, 2025** – The Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has come into effect in Karimnagar district following the announcement of elections for the Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduates’ and Teachers’ Constituencies. The elections are scheduled for February 27th, with the current MLCs’ terms expiring on March 29th.
Karimnagar Collector Pamela Satpathy convened a meeting with officials to ensure strict adherence to the MCC. Authorities are tasked with removing political banners and posters from public spaces and closing any unauthorized liquor shops. The MCC will remain in effect throughout the election process, as directed by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
