**Bhopal, India –** The Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched a major crackdown Wednesday on Jayshri Gayatri Food Products Pvt Ltd, a prominent Madhya Pradesh-based dairy company, for allegedly producing and distributing adulterated milk products both domestically and internationally. Simultaneous raids across nine locations, including Bhopal, Sehore, and Morena, are targeting the company’s directors, Kishan Modi, Rajendra Prasad Modi, and others.
The ED’s investigation uncovered 63 falsified lab reports used to export substandard milk products to several countries, including Bahrain, Hong Kong, Singapore, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE. The company, established in 2013 and operating under the brand name “Milk Magic,” manufactures a range of dairy products including packaged milk, ghee, khoya, white butter, and margarine.
While the company presents itself as a supplier of high-quality dairy products, the ED alleges that forged certificates masked the substandard nature of its exports. Authorities are currently examining financial records and other documents to determine the full extent of the alleged fraud and violations. An official statement from the ED and the company is pending. The raids are part of a larger ED operation targeting food adulteration and fraudulent trade practices.
