Wed Jan 29 05:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Tarantino Prioritizes Family, Delays Final Film

**Park City, UT** – Celebrated director Quentin Tarantino has announced he is delaying work on his final film to focus on raising his two young children. Speaking at the Sundance Film Festival, the 61-year-old filmmaker revealed he’s prioritizing family life over immediate production.

“I’ve been doing this for 30 years,” Tarantino explained. “Next month my son turns 5, and I have a 2½-year-old daughter. When I’m in America, I’m writing. When I’m in Israel? I’m an abba, which means father.”

Tarantino, who shares his children with wife Daniella, expressed a desire to wait until his son is at least six years old before beginning production on his next, and final, film. “The idea of jumping on a voyage when they’re too young to understand it is not enticing to me,” he stated. “I kind of want to not do whatever movie I end up doing until my son is at least 6. That way he’ll know what’s going on, he’ll be there, and it will be a memory for the rest of his life.” He added that his daughter, whose name remains private, is already “such a genius that she’ll just get it.”

The director previously shared anecdotes about his son Leo, born in 2020, including the near-miss of naming him after Leonardo DiCaprio. While the timeline for his final film remains uncertain, Tarantino’s commitment to family life is clear.
