**Hyderabad, January 29, 2025** – The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the schedule for elections to three Telangana Legislative Council constituencies on Wednesday. Polls for one Graduates’ constituency (Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar) and two Teachers’ constituencies (Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar and Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda) will be held on February 27th, 2025.

The terms of the current members are set to expire on March 29th. The ECI’s schedule includes:

* **February 3rd:** Notification of elections issued.
* **February 10th:** Last date for filing nominations.
* **February 11th:** Scrutiny of nominations.
* **February 13th:** Last date for withdrawal of nominations.
* **February 27th:** Election day (8 am to 4 pm).
* **March 3rd:** Counting of votes.

The model code of conduct has come into immediate effect in these constituencies.
