Tue Jan 28 22:12:05 UTC 2025: ## Nothing Phone (3a) Leaks Ahead of March 4 Launch: Bigger Display, Telephoto Camera, and Android 15

**London, UK** – Nothing is gearing up to unveil its Phone (3) series on March 4th, and details about the mid-range Nothing Phone (3a) have leaked ahead of the event. The device, codenamed A059, is expected to feature a significant upgrade over its predecessor.

Leaked specifications reveal a larger 6.8-inch 120Hz OLED display with a 1080p+ resolution, a 32MP front-facing camera, and the signature Glyph interface lighting. A notable change is the inclusion of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, a departure from the MediaTek chip used in the Phone (2a).

The rear camera system will boast a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens – a first for a Nothing phone, though this may be shared with other models in the (3) series. However, the ultra-wide camera has been downgraded to 8MP, compared to the 50MP sensor found on the (2a). The phone will also run Nothing OS 3.1, based on Android 15, and pack a 5000mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

While the (3a) is the focus of this leak, Nothing is also expected to launch the (3a) Plus and the flagship Phone (3) on March 4th. Rumors suggest the (3a) Plus will feature a periscope lens, offering a longer focal length than the (3a). Further details regarding the flagship Phone (3) and its camera capabilities remain scarce.

The leak has sparked some online debate, with some critics questioning the downgrade of the ultra-wide camera to an 8MP sensor. Nevertheless, the Nothing Phone (3a) promises a compelling mid-range offering with notable improvements, and fans can expect further teasers from Nothing in the coming weeks.
