**KADAPA, January 29, 2025** – Superintendent of Police E.G. Ashok Kumar emphasized the crucial role of regular firearms training for police officers in Kadapa today. During a visit to the police firing range, Mr. Kumar personally demonstrated proficiency with various weapons, including AK-47 assault rifles and Masada and Glock pistols, and even operated the VAJRA vehicle, firing gas shells.
He urged all personnel undergoing training to utilize the range frequently, stressing the importance of preparedness for emergency situations and the protection of citizens’ lives and property. Additional Superintendent of Police (Armed Reserve) B. Ramanaiah and Deputy Superintendent of Police Srinivasa Rao were present at the inspection.
