**Hyderabad, January 29, 2025** – Hyderabad Metro Rail services faced another disruption this morning, causing significant delays for commuters during peak office hours. Between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, services between Ameerpet and HiTec City were completely halted in one direction, with trains delayed by over an hour. A train also reportedly stalled at the Jubilee Hills station. Metro authorities restored services after an hour, but the disruption caused significant inconvenience to office-goers.
Metro officials attributed the delays to technical issues. This is not the first such incident; frequent disruptions, particularly during morning peak hours, especially impacting the HiTec City route and causing difficulties for IT professionals, have become a recurring problem for Hyderabad residents.
