**Rajkot, India:** England’s leg-spinner Adil Rashid bowled a stunning delivery to dismiss in-form Indian batsman Tilak Varma in the third T20I, helping England secure a 26-run victory and level the series 2-1. Former Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin lauded Rashid’s delivery on X, calling it an “absolute seed” with “scrambled seam and serious side spin.”
Varma, who had scored 336 runs in his previous four T20I innings without being dismissed, was clean bowled by a sharply turning ball that beat his inside edge. His dismissal proved a turning point in the match. India, chasing 172, had already lost their top order and were struggling at 85/5 following Varma’s departure. The loss of key batsmen Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel further hampered India’s chase, leaving them unable to overcome the required run rate.
