**KOCHI, January 29, 2025** – The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will host an “Ascent Summit” in Kochi on February 1st, focusing on boosting economic growth in Kerala. The summit, supported by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC), serves as a prelude to the Invest Kerala Global Summit scheduled for February 21st and 22nd.

The event will feature two sessions: a showcase of successful Kerala-based entrepreneurs, and a panel discussion on fostering global growth from a Kerala base. Six entrepreneurs will share their success stories, including representatives from Hykon India, Navalt Solar & Electric Boats, Popees Baby Care Products, Aceware Fintech Services, Solve Plastic Products, and Tranzmeo. Principal Secretary (Industries and Commerce) A.P.M. Mohammed Hanish will chair a concluding Q&A session. The summit will conclude with an address by Kerala’s Industries Minister P. Rajeeve. CII Kerala Chairman Vinod Manjila and Federal Bank’s Shalini Warrier will also participate. The summit begins at 5:30 p.m.
