**Belagavi, Karnataka, January 28, 2025** – A 31-year-old woman, Anjali Patil, died at the Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences following a Cesarean section delivery. Ms. Patil, from Nilaji village, was admitted to the hospital on the night of January 27th and delivered a baby girl. While her expected delivery date was January 22nd, she experienced no labor pains until her admission. Hospital officials stated that Ms. Patil’s death was due to a sudden blood pressure variation. Police from the APMC station have visited the hospital, and a post-mortem examination has been ordered. The incident is currently under investigation.
