**Thiruvananthapuram, January 28, 2025** – Kerala is expected to experience warmer than usual temperatures in isolated areas on Wednesday, with daytime highs potentially exceeding normal levels by 2-3° Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). While Tuesday saw mainly dry weather across Kerala and Lakshadweep, the IMD forecasts isolated showers in south and central Kerala over the next two days due to prevailing easterly and north-easterly winds. A yellow alert warning for isolated heavy rainfall has been issued for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta districts on Friday.
