**VISAKHAPATNAM, January 28, 2025** – Zilla Parishad chairperson J. Subhadra and CEO P. Narayana Murthy conducted inspections in Gopalapatnam on Monday, addressing concerns about dilapidated infrastructure and land encroachment. Their inspection covered a 1.09-acre plot of dilapidated tourist accommodation near the railway station and surrounding Zilla Parishad lands allegedly encroached upon.
The officials also visited the ZP High School, reviewing the mid-day meal program and sanitation facilities. Ms. Subhadra interacted with teachers and students, and subsequently inspected a shopping mall reportedly built on encroached school land. Further inspections included vacant Zilla Parishad land at Purushottapuram, where instructions were given to halt any ongoing encroachment. The district sports complex was also inspected, with discussions held regarding available facilities and training programs.
