**Lincoln, NE** – Jordan Larson, the most decorated player in Nebraska Husker volleyball history, is stepping down from her assistant coaching position after two successful seasons. The announcement was made Monday by Head Coach John Cook.
Larson, a four-time Olympian who won gold in the 2020 Tokyo Games, helped lead the Huskers to a remarkable 66-5 record over the past two years, including appearances in the NCAA finals and semifinals. Despite her departure, Coach Cook expressed gratitude for Larson’s contributions. “I am thankful to Jordan for all that she has done for our program,” he stated.
Larson, a Hooper, Nebraska native, will continue her volleyball career playing professionally for the LOVB volleyball league’s Omaha team.
