Larson, a former Husker star and Olympic athlete, joined the coaching staff in June 2023, juggling her assistant coaching duties with her professional playing career and Olympic commitments.
While expressing disappointment at her departure, Cook praised Larson’s contributions, noting her significant impact on the team during their highly successful two-year run, which included a 66-5 record and two NCAA Final Four appearances (reaching the 2023 NCAA Final and the 2024 Semifinals).
