**KOCHI, January 28, 2025** – The Ernakulam Regional Cooperative Milk Producers Union (ERCMPU), a unit of Milma, has initiated a series of training programs for its bulk milk cooler (BMC) teams. The program, launched Monday at the Milma headquarters, aims to bring 182 BMC groups across Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Idukki districts up to ISO 22000:2018 standards as part of the National Dairy Development Programme. ERCMPU chairman C.N. Vathsalan Pillai inaugurated the training, with board member John Theruvath presiding. The initiative underscores Milma’s commitment to quality and safety in its milk production processes.
