**Patna, Bihar –** The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of East Central Railway (ECR) has announced the recruitment of 1,154 apprentices across various divisions. Online applications are open from January 25th, 2025, and will close on February 14th, 2025. Interested candidates can apply through the official RRC website.
The vacancies are distributed across several ECR divisions: Danapur (675), Dhanbad (156), Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay (64), Sonpur (47), Samastipur (46), Plant Depot (Pt Deen Dayal) (29), Carriage Repair Workshop, Harnaut (110), and Mechanical Workshop, Samastipur (27).
Applicants must possess a Class 10 certificate with a minimum of 50% marks and an ITI certificate in a relevant trade. The age limit is 15-24 years as of January 1st, 2025, with relaxations for reserved categories as per government norms. Selection will be based on a merit list calculated from Class 10 and ITI marks. Selected apprentices will receive a stipend according to railway norms.
The application fee is Rs. 100 for general candidates, while SC/ST/PwBD/women candidates are exempted. Applicants must upload their Class 10 mark sheet, birth certificate, ITI certificate, and caste certificate (if applicable) during registration.
