**Chennai, January 28, 2025** – Two fishermen drowned after their boat capsized off the Chennai coast due to rough seas on Tuesday. The bodies of Baskar (61) and Raji (35), both residents of Nadukuppam in Triplicane, were found washed ashore on Marina Beach. Marina police have registered a case and sent the bodies to Government Royapettah Hospital for post-mortem examinations to determine the exact cause of death. The fishermen had set sail early Tuesday morning.
