**New Delhi, January 28, 2025** – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) intensified its campaign for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections with 26 public meetings across the capital on Monday. Star campaigners targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), highlighting issues like inadequate drainage, drinking water shortages, and overall infrastructure deficiencies.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal criticized Delhi’s drainage system, citing last monsoon’s fatal flooding. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri focused on the drinking water crisis, alleging that both rich and poor Delhiites are affected. He also mentioned the deaths of four UPSC candidates due to waterlogging. Union Minister of State Dr. Sukanto Majumdar claimed that even migrants from BJP-ruled states find their home states’ infrastructure superior to Delhi’s.

MP Manoj Tiwari addressed Purvanchal communities, claiming they are disillusioned with AAP’s governance. MP Ravi Kishan, campaigning for the third consecutive day, accused AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal of insulting the Purvanchal community. Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa also actively campaigned in Seelampur. The BJP’s campaign emphasizes a promise of improved infrastructure and governance under a “double-engine” government.
