**NEW DELHI –** The Bar Council of India (BCI) is expected to release the results of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 19 shortly. The exam, held on December 22, 2024, determined the eligibility of law graduates to practice law in India and obtain the Certificate of Practice (CoP).

Candidates who took the AIBE 19 are urged to regularly check the official website, allindiabarexamination.com, for updates. Results will be accessible via candidate login. The passing percentage is 45% for General and OBC categories, and 40% for SC, ST, and disabled categories. The exam comprised 100 multiple-choice questions covering 19 legal subjects.

The AIBE is a mandatory exam for all Indian law graduates seeking to practice law. Graduates must be enrolled as advocates under Section 24 of the Advocates Act, 1961, to be eligible. The BCI will release the results following the closure of the objection window.
