Mon Jan 27 07:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Truecaller’s Live Caller ID Finally Arrives on iPhones
**New Delhi:** Truecaller, a popular Android app known for its live caller ID feature, has finally brought the functionality to iPhones. This long-awaited update addresses a key limitation that previously hampered the app’s popularity among iOS users. While iPhone users could previously identify numbers after a call, the live identification was missing.
Truecaller CEO Alan Mamedi announced the feature’s arrival, fulfilling a promise made in September 2024. The company states that the live caller ID feature is now available for iPhones running iOS 14.0 or later. Users need to activate the Truecaller switch in their iPhone settings (Settings > Apps > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification) to enable the feature. Once activated, the setup completes automatically.
In addition to live caller ID, the update also includes enhanced spam blocking and a search function allowing users to access and search up to 2,000 previous calls within their phone app’s recent call list. This comprehensive update is expected to significantly boost Truecaller’s user base among iPhone users.
