The “Education Excellence Encouragement (EEE)” scheme will provide a monthly scholarship of Rs 1,000 to the top-performing male and female student in classes 9-12 at each participating school. The program, a revival of a scheme originally launched in 2005-06, will see District Education Officers (DEOs) submit the names of eligible students by January 24th. District Education Officer Ajit Singh confirmed the rollout, stating that all schools have been notified.
