Mon Jan 27 18:54:10 IST 2025: ## Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Awards Republic Day Winners

**Chennai, January 27, 2025** – Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presented awards to students and state departments for their outstanding performances in Republic Day celebrations. School and college teams, as well as state departments, were recognized for their cultural programs and parade floats.

Top honors in the school category went to Everwin Matriculation Higher Secondary School (Kolathur), Children’s Garden Higher Secondary School (Mylapore), and the Government Girls Higher Secondary School (Ashok Nagar). Queen Mary’s College, Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Science for Women, and Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women took the top three prizes in the college category.

In the departmental float competition, the Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Police, and Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Departments secured the top three positions. Prizes were accepted by representatives from each department. Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam were present at the award ceremony.
