**Madurai, January 26, 2025** – The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court observed Republic Day with a vibrant ceremony on Sunday. Justice M.S. Ramesh, Administrative Judge, hoisted the national flag and paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi. The event featured a Guard of Honour presented by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), who also showcased impressive skills including blindfolded firearm assembly, self-defense techniques, and a human pyramid flag-raising. Children of court staff and advocates entertained the attendees with silambam and cultural performances. A blood donation camp further marked the occasion, with participation from judges, staff, and advocates. Simultaneously, the Madurai District Court also celebrated Republic Day with its own flag-hoisting ceremony.
