VISAKHAPATNAM, INDIA (January 27, 2025) – Several industries and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in Visakhapatnam celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with various events on Sunday. The celebrations included flag hoisting ceremonies, awards presentations, and a blood donation drive.

RINL (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant) highlighted its low water consumption in the Indian steel industry, while expressing confidence in future achievements. Visakhapatnam Port Authority announced a 90-million-ton target for the current financial year and revealed ongoing projects worth ₹2,000 crore. HPCL Visakh Refinery awarded 81 employees for their service. Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) announced growth prospects with the launch of a new indigenously built dredger.

The Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL) emphasized the importance of indigenous underwater weapon development, while Andhra University urged students to emulate freedom fighters’ principles. Visakha Valley School held a Republic Day celebration with student participation, and CREDAI Visakhapatnam organized a blood donation camp collecting 40 units of blood.
