**PUDUCHERRY, January 27, 2025** – Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan hosted a Republic Day “At Home” reception at Raj Nivas on Sunday evening. The event was attended by a wide range of dignitaries, including Chief Minister N. Rangasamy and his cabinet, ruling and opposition party legislators, and senior government officials.
Representatives from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and Congress party, including Opposition leader R. Siva and former Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy, were also present.
The reception included a felicitation of Padma Shri awardee Thavil exponent P. Datchanamoorthy, who performed with his team at the event.
