**Vijayawada, January 26, 2025** – Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur of the Andhra Pradesh High Court delivered a Republic Day address emphasizing the judiciary’s crucial role as a guardian of the Constitution. Speaking at celebrations held on the high court premises in Amaravati, Justice Thakur lauded India’s Constitution as a model for democratic nations, blending tradition and modernity to ensure equal rights and opportunities for all.
He acknowledged the challenges faced by India since its independence in 1950 and urged all stakeholders to work towards achieving the Constitution’s objectives.
