Mon Jan 27 16:09:39 UTC 2025: ## Five-Month-Old Baby and Grandmother Killed in Tamil Nadu Road Accident

**Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, January 28, 2025** – A five-month-old baby and his grandmother were killed in a road accident near Paramakudi in Ramanathapuram district on Monday. According to police, the victims, identified as S. Rudran (5 months) and M. Selvi (45), were traveling on a two-wheeler with Sathya (19), Rudran’s mother, when they were struck by a government bus near Thirushanmuganathapuram. The child died at the scene, while Selvi succumbed to her injuries at Paramakudi government hospital. Sathya was also injured but survived. Emaneswaram police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
