**Visakhapatnam, January 27, 2025** – Vice-Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Naval Command (ENC), led the Republic Day celebrations at the naval base in Visakhapatnam today. The ceremony included a ceremonial parade featuring over 500 personnel from various naval branches, showcasing the strength and diversity of the ENC.
In his address, Vice-Admiral Pendharkar underscored the importance of the Constitution and its core values – justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. He urged everyone to work towards a stronger and more prosperous India, aligning with the vision of “Viksit Bharat” – a developed India. This vision, he stressed, extends beyond economic progress and technological advancements, focusing on ensuring dignity, security, and opportunity for all citizens.
The ENC chief also highlighted the Command’s successes in various operational deployments, bilateral and multilateral exercises (including MALABAR, SIMBEX, and SLINEX), and community outreach programs.
