**ALAPPUZHA, Kerala, January 27, 2025** – Police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide in Krishnapuram, near Kayamkulam, where a 58-year-old man and his 56-year-old wife were found dead on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Sudhan and Sushma.
Authorities believe Sudhan killed his wife, Sushma, before taking his own life. Sudhan’s body was discovered Sunday morning, while Sushma’s body was recovered from a nearby pond. A post-mortem examination revealed Sushma suffered severe head injuries, consistent with a blunt force trauma. The investigation is ongoing.
