HYDERABAD, January 27, 2025 – The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) addressed 78 public complaints during its weekly Prajavani grievance meeting on Monday. The meeting, held at Buddha Bhavan, focused on encroachments on public land, including ponds, canals, roads, and government properties.

Significant complaints included allegations of illegal land sales (408 acres) in Ailapur village and encroachment on two acres of land in Kuntloor. Residents of K.V.R. Rainbow Colony reported the illegal occupation of a 2,900-yard park, hindering the installation of exercise equipment. The Vasavi Graduates Cooperative Housing Society raised concerns about Full Tank Level (FTL) limits impacting construction on approved plots.

HYDRAA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath assured residents that all complaints would be investigated. He emphasized the need to protect public land and suggested measures like fencing and signage to deter future encroachments. He also instructed officials to prioritize cases reported after July 2024.
