Mon Jan 27 17:20:00 IST 2025: **Twins’ Correa Declares Himself Ready for Spring Training After Plantar Fasciitis Battle**

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Minnesota Twins star Carlos Correa is reporting for Spring Training fully healthy and ready to go after overcoming plantar fasciitis. The three-time All-Star missed a significant portion of the 2024 season due to the heel injury, impacting the team’s late-season performance despite a strong start to the year.

However, Correa assures fans and the Twins organization that his plantar fasciitis is a thing of the past. He reports feeling “great” and participating in a full training regimen, including sprinting and running drills. Twins President of Baseball Operations Derek Falvey echoed Correa’s optimism, stating that their hitting coach observed Correa in “midseason form.”

Correa’s 2024 season was hampered by the injury, forcing him to miss the All-Star game and return only in mid-September. While he maintained his effectiveness at the plate upon his return, it wasn’t enough to prevent the team’s slide. This year, however, Correa has implemented a preventative maintenance program focused on strengthening and flexibility exercises, improved footwear, and careful surface selection for training.

Correa’s full recovery is crucial to the Twins’ 2025 aspirations. His consistent performance and availability will be key to their success. With the start of Spring Training just weeks away, the Twins are looking forward to a healthy and productive season from their star infielder.
