**Indore, Madhya Pradesh –** Congress leader and former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot launched a scathing attack on the BJP on Monday, accusing the ruling party of deliberately insulting B.R. Ambedkar and undermining the Constitution. Pilot, speaking at a Congress rally in Mhow near Indore, announced a nationwide campaign in collaboration with allied parties to raise awareness about what he termed as the BJP’s disrespect for the Constitution’s architect and the Constitution itself.

Pilot alleged that the BJP-led central government has systematically weakened constitutional institutions over the past decade, claiming that their actions contradict their public pronouncements of upholding the Constitution. He cited specific, though unnamed, remarks made in the Lok Sabha by BJP members as evidence of this alleged disrespect. He further accused the BJP of having a negligible contribution to India’s independence struggle.

These accusations come in response to earlier allegations made by the Congress against Union Home Minister Amit Shah, which Shah dismissed as a misrepresentation of his comments. Pilot’s campaign aims to bring these alleged instances of disrespect to the forefront of public consciousness. The Congress plans to utilize this campaign to highlight what it sees as a concerted effort by the BJP to erode democratic institutions.
