Mon Jan 27 16:03:21 IST 2025: **Adani Wilmar Reports Over 100% Jump in Q3 Net Profit**

**New Delhi, January 27, 2025** – Adani Wilmar, a leading consumer goods company, announced a significant surge in its consolidated net profit for the December 2024 quarter, more than doubling to ₹410.93 crore compared to ₹200.89 crore in the same period last year. The strong performance was driven by robust edible oil sales.

Total income for the quarter reached ₹16,926 crore, up from ₹12,887.21 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. The edible oil segment saw a particularly strong increase, with revenue rising to ₹13,386.71 crore from ₹9,710.82 crore. Growth was also seen in the food and FMCG segment (₹1,558 crore vs ₹1,273 crore) and the industry essentials segment (₹1,914.59 crore vs ₹1,844.12 crore). While expenses increased to ₹16,379.76 crore from ₹12,606.26 crore, the company still reported record profits, with EBITDA at ₹792 crore.

CEO Angshu Mallick attributed the success to increased market share in key categories like sunflower and mustard oil, outpacing industry growth in wheat flour, and a significant expansion of rural coverage. The company’s rural reach has grown from 5,000 towns in March 2022 to over 43,000 towns by December 2024. E-commerce revenue also saw a 41% year-on-year increase on a trailing-twelve-months basis. Strong growth was also reported in South India, with a 15% year-on-year volume growth in branded products during Q3.

Following the announcement, Adani Wilmar’s shares rose 5.06% to ₹264.60 apiece on the BSE.
