However, this sequence is adjusted for significant observances, with colours chosen to reflect the occasion. For example, blue is used for Glaucoma Day, orange for Bone Day, and pink for Women’s Day. Independence Day is marked with the colours of the Indian flag. The system excludes brown, dark violet, and black, while Sundays feature a vibrant display of all available colours.
