Mon Jan 27 07:40:00 IST 2025: ## Telangana Launches Four Major Welfare Schemes Simultaneously

**Hyderabad, [Date]** – In a move described as unprecedented in Telangana’s history, Chief Minister K. Revanth Reddy launched four massive welfare schemes simultaneously on Sunday. The ambitious initiative, involving Rythu Bharosa (farmer support), Indira Priyadarshini Scheme (housing), Indira Amma Athmiya Bharosa (financial assistance for landless poor), and the distribution of new ration cards, is expected to significantly impact the lives of millions of Telanganites.

The launch, held in Narayanpet district’s Chandrawal village, saw the first installments of financial aid credited to beneficiaries’ accounts. While the government announced funds would be disbursed from midnight Sunday, officials clarified that due to bank closures on Sunday, most transfers are expected to be completed by Monday morning, possibly after 10:30 AM.

The Rythu Bharosa scheme will see an initial payment of ₹6,000 per acre, with a total of ₹10,000 crore disbursed by March 31st. Indira Priyadarshini, aiming to construct 4.5 lakh houses by March 31st, will provide ₹5,00,000 per beneficiary in four installments. The first installment of ₹1 lakh will be released today. Indira Amma Athmiya Bharosa will provide annual financial assistance of ₹12,000 to landless poor families, with the first installment of ₹6,000 credited from Sunday night. The government also plans to issue 40 lakh new ration cards.

The undertaking represents a significant logistical challenge, with government officials and staff working extensively to ensure smooth implementation and beneficiary selection. While the government aims to complete all disbursements by March 31st, delays could lead to potential public frustration. Chief Minister Reddy assured that all beneficiaries will receive their due benefits by the stated deadline. The scale of the simultaneous launch has been described as a bold step by the Congress government to connect with the people of Telangana.
